Physiotherapy is a very effective way of reducing the symptoms of some types of vertigo and our specialist physiotherapists are experienced in treating such complex conditions.
All Staff are members of Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and are HCPC registered.
Your physiotherapist will take a detailed history and then perform movements and tests to establish the source of your problem.
Goals are agreed and appropriate treatment is applied. Our team of highly qualified and experienced physiotherapists use a variety of hands on treatment, including Maitland, McKenzie, Cyriax and Mulligan approaches, alongside massage and soft tissue techniques, Acupuncture, traction, taping, provision of Pilates in a one to one setting or a small class basis.
A Tailored exercise plan is drawn up and a copy of these exercises emailed to each patient where appropriate.
At our fully equipped gym we can provide more advanced rehabilitation to ensure that each patient achieves their full potential to help integrate that patient back into their chosen lifestyle activities whether at home, work or leisure
Our highly qualified acupuncturist believes in a collaborative and empowering approach to acupuncture treatment to identify and address causative factors of ill health and imbalance, thus restoring balance to the body and, ultimately, providing tools to the individual to maintain wellness.
We are members of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists.
Visits can be requested for people in their own home or in a residential home for patients who are not able to attend our clinic in person.
Pilates is an excellent form of injury prevention and recovery as well as being beneficial to overall health. We offer 1-1 sessions and group classes.
A Hindu spiritual and ascetic discipline, a part of which, including breath controls, simple meditation, and the adoption of specific bodily postures, is widely practiced for Health and relaxation. Yoga is aimed at improving flexibility, balance and relaxation. Breathing technique is incorporated into a series of poses, enhancing the connection between mind and body while also assisting in injury prevention.
